SSHRC Institutional Grants

Through itsÌýSSHRCÌýInstitutional Grants (SIG) funding opportunity,ÌýSSHRCÌýprovides annual block grants to help eligible Canadian postsecondary institutions fund small-scale research and research-related activities by their faculty in the social sciences and humanities.Ìý

Global Research Seed Fund

TheÌýGlobal Research Seed FundÌýÌýis an internal small grant which is intended to support the development of international research initiatives between мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥ researchers and their global partners.Ìý

Applications are accepted from researchers who are eligible for tri-agency funding; resulting grants are intended to supportÌýnew orÌýemerging collaborations, of up to one year’s duration, which require start-up support to develop research ties. Such collaborations will be funded up to a maximum ofÌý$5,000.

мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥ Belong Research Fellowships

мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥ has established the Belong Research Fellowships for pre-tenure, tenure-track faculty who are Indigenous and/or members of equity-deserving groups as one means of supporting their development as researchers.ÌýUp to four fellowships of $5,000 each are available annually.Ìý
