Mini Law School: Aboriginal and Indigenous Law - Is There a Difference?

Join us for a series of engaging public lectures that will give you a taste of what a legal education is all about.

This session will be hosted by Schulich Law Assistant Professor Cheryl Simon.

The recognition and elevation of Indigenous law will be critical to fully implementing Aboriginal and Treaty Rights, as well as enabling Canada to meet its obligations under the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.

This session will provide an overview on the sources of both Aboriginal law and Indigenous law and how they differ from each other.
