Advanced Manufacturing Hub
Advanced manufacturing represents the largest output of any goods-producing sector in Nova Scotia. The Faculty of Engineering's researchers make critical contributions to our province's capacity, even in the face of aging infrastructure.
The Sexton Campus' Electrical Engineering Building is over 55 years old. One of the most significant renovation components of the IDEA Project is to renew the Electrical Engineering Building's facilities and provide new multi-purpose research spaces.
These new spaces form the Advanced Manufacturing Hub. The Advanced Manufacturing Hub houses infrastructure that supports our world-leading researchers in the development of sustainable industrial processes for manufacturing advanced materials.
Cutting Edge Infrastructure
The Advanced Manufacturing Hub provides 新加坡六合彩开奖直播 researchers with even greater insight into industrial design processes with an emphasis on sustainable manufacturing and high-performance materials.
Our top-of-the-line infrastructure captures everything from raw material production through to the fabrication and analysis of engineered components.
With ready access to 3D printers and other advanced prototyping technology, students, faculty and others will be able to make everything from parts for a new piece of equipment to specialized tools.
