Richard Drake

I began my academic training at Saint Mary鈥檚 University, where I completed a bachelor of science with honours in psychology and a bachelor of arts with honours in linguistics. I joined the Eskes Lab during my undergraduate years, first as a volunteer and later as a research assistant, and proceeded to complete a master of science in the lab through 新加坡六合彩开奖直播鈥檚 experimental psychology program. I am currently working towards a PhD in experimental psychology under the co-supervision of Dr. Eskes and Dr. Ray Klein. I have broad interests in cognition, with my research to date focusing on attention, working memory, and language. For my master鈥檚 thesis research, I explored how attention affects walking and multitasking in Parkinson鈥檚 disease. I am also interested in data security, encryption, statistics, and building software for research and data analysis.

Outside of work, my passions are stock car racing - i am the reigning champion in the Lightning Division at Scotia Speedworld - and studying chanoyu, the Japanese way of tea.
