For Records & Information Management Month, the Records Management Office is offering two sessions.
Departing employees & things to consider
Do you have someone departing your unit? Or are you the one that is departing a unit to explore a new adventure? This session will help you know what to do with the administrative records that were created, received or inherited in that soon-to-be vacant position.

Sending records to their final destination & what to do
Not sure what do to with all the documents, records, versions, drafts, and/or duplicates of stuff you have at work? Not sure what to keep and what can be gotten rid of? This session is for you!
This session will give you the tools to help figure that out. We will go over what records management is, give you the tools to help you figure out what information is a record (and what is not), what has to be retained (in accordance with the Records Management Policy) and what can be securely shredded or deleted.Ìý
