K. Lynn Taylor Educational Conference Presentation Travel Grant
Two grants of up to $1,000 each are available.Â
Award Description and Purpose:Â This grant will assist in funding travel costs incurred by faculty who have been accepted to give a scholarly presentation at an academic conference with a focus on teaching and learning in higher education, or a pedagogical session (focused on teaching and learning in higher education) at a discipline-based conference. For this funding, scholarly presentations include presenting a research paper or a poster (finalized or preliminary findings), facilitating a workshop, or participating on a panel or roundtable. Â
One grant of up to $1000 to support attendance of a teaching and learning conference. Â
The Change One Thing Challenge is an open invitation to the university teaching community to submit a description of a student engagement activity that has been developed as part of their current teaching practice, and that they believe has a positive impact on student learning.
Please note that to be eligible for this round of funding travel must be started and completed between April 1, 2022 and March 31, 2023. With the given restrictions on travel applicants may opt to attend an online conference.
