SuperNOVA Programming Spotlight: ITS For Girls​
SuperNOVA offers a range of girls programming to female or gender non-conforming students, where participants are encouraged to explore their interests and passions in a safe and welcoming environment.Â
The ITS for Girls program (ITS standing for Industry, Technology and Science) promotes young girls to explore their interests in all things STEM in a collaborative setting that promotes allyship between participants and confidence in their own abilities! SuperNOVA is proud to work towards empowering young girls in STEM and providing opportunities such as the ITS for Girls program.
The program appears in various forms, including the year-long programming of the ITS For Girls Junior and Senior clubs, where female-identifying mentors in various STEM fields do workshops with the girls every month. For more information on this programming, check . We also offer a girls-only ITS For Girls technology  and Girl Guides badge workshops! ​We've also previously run an ITS For Girls weekly coding club.
