Tenure-stream position in Innovation and Entrepreneurship
The Rowe School of Business (RSB) invites applications for a tenure-stream faculty position in Innovation and Entrepreneurship (at any rank) with a commencement date of July 1, 2020. This date is negotiable. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to carry out and publish research in mainstream Innovation and Entrepreneurship journals. The applicant must have a PhD or DBA in innovation, entrepreneurship or a related field, from an AACSB or EQUIS-accredited business school. Applicants very close to their thesis defense date may also be considered. The candidates must have demonstrated research productivity commensurate with the rank applied for.
The Rowe School of Business is accredited by the AACSB and the candidate’s qualifications must meet the School’s AACSB standards. The successful applicant will be expected to engage in leading-edge research with faculty colleagues and students, to apply for external grants, to teach, and to contribute to the academic life of the School through committee membership and other activities. Ability to make significant contributions to the School’s MBA program, as well as the innovation ecosystem at мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥ is essential.
The Rowe School of Business is the host of the Creative Destruction Lab – Atlantic, as well as the home of several other initiatives in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated potential for collaboration with colleagues in the school’s research clusters: management of healthcare, innovation, behavioural analytics, and responsible organizations. Practical experience in entrepreneurial settings or ecosystems will be considered an asset.
The Rowe School offers programs at the undergraduate level (Bachelor of Commerce) and graduate level (MBA and MSc). The doctoral program is a university-wide interdisciplinary program. Prior teaching experience at the university level is required, with preference for advanced rank appointment given to applicants who have taught and supervised at the graduate level. As evidence of teaching, course evaluations are required.
