COURSE INFORMATION: Chinese 1031.03: Mandarin Chinese Part 1 &

Chinese 1032.03: Mandarin Chinese Part 2

Fall & Winter Terms 2019-2020 (September 1, 2019 – April 30, 2020)

Currently Scheduled: TR 11:35-12:55

WORK ASSIGNMENT: The part-time academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including admission, lectures, test preparation, evaluation, and electronic submission of grades. Instructors are expected to maintain reliable and constant communication with the administration of the Department, to be available for two hours per week for consultation with students, and to have students fill out the evaluation questionnaire at the end of the course.

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: Applicants should have native or near-native fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese and possess a graduate degree or other academic and/or professional qualifications deemed suitable for teaching the class. Previous teaching experience at the post-secondary level will be an asset.ÌýÌý
