$16.28/hour, as per CUPE Collective Agreement
WORK ASSIGNMENT:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
The Demonstrator will assist with the running of the lab class PSYO 2000.03 (Fall).
Duties include, but are not limited to:
-setting up and preparing laboratory equipment and materials
-cleaning up at the end of the labs
-advising students on matters related to the laboratory work
-monitoring students during the lab exercises and evaluations
-attending weekly meeting on Mondays 11:00 am – 12:00 pm
-be available for lab B04, Wednesdays 1435-1625
Approximately 90 hours are required for this position.
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:Â Applicants must have successfully completed Psychology 2000.03 or Neuroscience 2007.03. Preference will be given to students who have completed Psychology 2000.03 or Neuroscience 2007.03 in good standing. Must be familiar with basic research methods in Psychology, especially Cognitive and Social Psychology. The successful applicant should be familiar with, or willing to learn, basic computer applications.
