Pharmacy Practice Position
College of Pharmacy, Faculty of Health, мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥
Applications are invited for a one year, 100% Limited Term position in Pharmacy Practice at the Instructor level to work collaboratively with other instructors in the Skills Lab.Ìý Applicants must possess an entry to practice Canadian pharmacy degree and must be eligible for license to practice pharmacy in Nova Scotia.Ìý Experience in course development, course coordination, and teaching in the areas of pharmacy practice and skills as well as evidence of exemplary practice and teaching skills are required.
The Skills Lab provides learning in practice-based skills required by a pharmacist.Ìý These include communication skills, patient assessment, drug-therapy management, pharmacist prescribing, and skills associated with prescription processing.Ìý Responsibilities include: updating/developing course material, course coordination, lecturing, arranging guest lecturers, student assessment and overseeing the lab demonstrators.
The successful candidate will also participate in College, Faculty and University committees, continuing pharmacy education programs and other professional and administrative service activities.Ìý Experience in working with case-oriented learning and assessment, as well as project management are required.
