Lecturer of Management (Work Term Report and Accreditation Coordinator)

The Rowe School of Business invites applications for a three-year limited-term appointment in the Management Area Group at the rank of Lecturer commencing January 1, 2019. The successful candidate is responsible for (1) activities associated with the Bachelor of Commerce student work term reports, (2) activities related with the Assurance of Learning (AoL) processes, and (3) the development of reports assessing
School performance.

The successful candidate must have at least a Master’s degree (preferably in business or a related field) and practical experiences in writing in business and/or government environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with students on work term reports, marking the student’s reports in accordance with established deadlines and coordinating with the Rowe School of Business and Management Career Services in all aspects of the work term reports. The successful candidate will coordinate and support AoL activities for all relevant programs (associated with accreditations), working in collaboration with the Associate-Director, and the Program Directors. The successful candidate also coordinates the AoL committee. The successful candidate will also develop required reports highlighting the School performance, in collaboration with the Director and the Associate Director.  

The successful applicant will also contribute to the academic life of the School. Candidates must be able to meet the School’s accrediting body’s (AACSB) qualification requirements.
