1. PART-TIME ACADEMIC POSTING: Department of French (CIC)

POSITION: Part-time Academic (ASSC 3150, fall 2018/19)
DEPARTMENT/LOCATION:Ìý Department of French (CIC)
PAY RATE:Ìý As per CUPE Collective Agreement

WORK ASSIGNMENT:Ìý A part-time academic is required to teach ASSC 3150.03, Intercultural Communication 1, in the 2018/19 fall term (September to December 2018, on Mondays from 16:35-19:25). The part-time academic is responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including lectures, test preparation, and evaluation. The position reports to the Chair of the Department of French.
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:Ìý Candidates must possess a Master's degree in an appropriate field, plus previous university teaching experience. Lived cultural experience and evidence of intercultural sensitivity, familiarity with current research in intercultural communication preferred.
