Human Rights Day (UN)
On December 10, 1948, members of the United Nations gathered in Paris to adopt the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This unprecedented act was to ensure that the inherent dignity of every person is valued and protected.​

December 11

²Ñ²¹²õá‘i±ô (Questions) is the 15th month of the Bahá’í year.

December 13
First Day of Ḥanukkah
Ḥanukkah (December 13 - 20), the Festival of Lights (and the Feast of Dedication), commemorates the victory of Judah the Maccabee and religious freedom, and the re-dedication of the Temple in 165 BCE. It also celebrates the power of God and the faithfulness of Israel.

Last Day of Ḥanukkah
