POSITION: Venue Rental Crew

PAY RATE: Hourly rate based on level of experience
HOURS OF WORK: Casual as needed
WORK ASSIGNMENT: FSPA Rental Crew members are responsible for fulfilling the production requirements of rental events booked in the Sir James Dunn and David Mack. Murray Theatres of the Ð¼ÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥ Arts Centre. Operating under the direction of the FSPA Rental Crew Chief, crew members will be scheduled and assigned tasks based on the technical requirements of each event, and will be responsible to setup and operate all aspects of the venues in an organized and professional manner. Crew members are frequently involved with multiple areas of productions, including lighting, sound, video, rigging, and stage management. Venue staff are expected to familiarize themselves with the venues, and will receive training in different areas and systems as required. This position reports to the FSPA Rental Crew Chief.
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: The ability to learn on-the-job and adapt quickly to the requirements of a given production. Prior experience as an event/production technician is preferred. All rental crew members must have steel-toe work shoes and be willing to work in accordance with the safety regulations of FSPA venues.
NOTE: This is a casual, part-time position. Rental crew members are scheduled on an as-needed basis at the discretion of the Rental Crew Chief based on the needs of each production. Being added to the crew call list does not guarantee regular shifts.
