The Department of Medical Neuroscience in the Faculty of Medicine at мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥ invites applications for a full time Career Stream Instructor position. The successful candidate will deliver anatomy components of the medical curriculum, including gross anatomy, histology and neuroanatomy, for мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥ Medicine New Brunswick (DMNB) at the New Brunswick Campus, Saint John site. Teaching activities will include the maintenance and continued development of anatomy programs for medical students. Extensive experience with the proper care, handling, tracking and use of human cadaveric material is essential. Scholarly activity will be encouraged and supported institutionally when focused on innovation and improvement of anatomy teaching or related domains and when time permits.
The successful candidate will be expected to have managerial experience with respect to overseeing policies and procedures necessary for the operation of the anatomy teaching laboratory, located within the Saint John Regional Hospital, and supervision of laboratory staff.
Applicants must hold an MSc or equivalent, and have experience teaching and managing an anatomy laboratory. Ideally, the successful candidate will have had experience delivering and managing anatomy education at a distributed site. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
