мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥ will be initiating a multi-institutional Learning Management System review over the next few months to explore options to improve and enhance the universities e-learning environment for faculty and students. The review is being initiated by the Provost’s office, and led by мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥â€™s Centre for Learning and Teaching, Information and Technology Services, and the мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥ Libraries.
The review will be conducted with other Nova Scotia university partners who are also exploring Learning Management Systems for their organizations. It is hoped this partnership will result in cost savings and service efficiencies for all of the institutions involved.
As part of this мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥ will be looking at the current LMS system, Blackboard, along with two other systems, Desire 2 Learn and Canvas. Faculty, students and staff will have an opportunity to evaluate these systems online. To be granted access to the evaluation spaces to contact Doug Rogers, LMS Review Coordinator at Doug.Rogers@dal.ca. Please visit for more information.
