Applications are sought for 3 positions of Instructor for the Internetworking Program. This program is responsible for the Master of Engineering in Internetworking (MEI) of the Faculty of Engineering at мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥.
The successful candidates will be required to
i)Â Â Â Prepare and set up laboratory equipment as required to support laboratory experiments
ii)Â Â Â Lead Software Defined Network experiments based both on Virtual Machines and Networks and physical SDN switches.
iii)Â Â Â Program Python script for SDNs and lead RTOS laboratories based on Python.
iv)Â Â Â Design laboratory experiments based on standard switches and routers and wireless technologies and security equipment to support course goals
v)Â Â Â Advise Academic Director of required equipment requirement to support laboratory experiments
vi)Â Â Â Prepare and deliver training programs based on advanced equipment features and technologies
vii)Â Â Â Maintain documentation and infrastructure database
viii)Â Â Â Supervise laboratory experiments and grade reports
ix)Â Â Â Advise and guide students and former students with certification training
x)Â Â Â Lead students in their seminar research topics
Candidates’ qualifications must include an M.Eng. in Internetworking degree, industrial certification (held or in progress), experience in i) internetworking system design using Cisco equipment, ii) student guidance, iii) preparing tutorials on the use of modern network equipment and iv) software and OS’s as they pertain to the Internetworking Program. Candidates should have at least five years of hands-on experience with Cisco network equipment. These position requires a self-starter who is prepared to work as necessary to ensure that the students have an excellent laboratory experience.
This is a three-year, limited-term appointment at 75% of full-time equivalency. Applications should include a c.v. and a statement of teaching interests and be sent, by October 7, 2014, to:
