Work Assignment:
INFO 6340 – Cataloguing & Classification II
The part-time academic will teach the elective course Cataloguing & Classification II (INFO 6340) in the MLIS program during the 2015 Winter term. The course is scheduled for one 3 hour period per week, January – April 2015.
Precis:
Requirements of the Position:
MLIS degree, professional employment experience, and prior teaching experience in cataloguing.
The Instructor reports to the Director of the School. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Responsibility for all aspects of teaching and administering the course, including lectures, active learning class sessions, assignment preparation and evaluation; availability for two hours per week for consultation with students. A syllabus for the course is available.
