Field of vision study (repost)

Posted by Capital Health on April 3, 2014 in General Announcements

Yesterday's post neglected to include mention that the study is specifically looking for male volunteers at this time. It is now corrected.

Would you like to take part in a study to test your field of vision?

We are recruiting participants for a study in which a new visual field test is being evaluated.

The field of vision is one of the most important tests in eye care. For this test, patients sit in front of an instrument called a perimeter and press to button every time they see a spot of light being shown somewhere within their field of vision.

If you are male, between 40 and 80 years old, and have no eye disease, you may be eligible to participate.

The study consists of 2 visits. The first visit will take approximately
2 hours, and the second visit will take approximately 1 hour.
You will be compensated for your participation in this study.
Participation is strictly voluntary and you are free to withdraw at any time.

How to Reach Us:
If you are interested in participating please contact the Research Coordinator: Anne Belliveau at (902) 473-3236 or Anne.Belliveau@cdha.nshealth.ca

This study is sponsored by Carl Zeiss Meditec, Inc., 5160 Hacienda Drive, Dublin, CA 94568
