INSTRUCTOR POSITION

The Department of French at мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥ invites applications for a two-year full-time, limited term appointment at the rank of Instructor starting July 1, 2014. The position is subject to budgetary approval. Major responsibilities will include teaching 5 full credit courses during a 12 month period, principally at the 1st year language level.

Besides teaching, the Instructor’s duties will comprise the development of exercises for 1st year language classes, including Blackboard Learning Systems materials, and participating in the development of computer-assisted language learning (CALL) programmes. At an administrative level, the Instructor will serve on Faculty and University Committees, and will perform other duties to support the Department.

Applicants should hold an M.A. degree or a PhD degree and have extensive teaching experience at the level of 1st year French. Candidates with a Ph.D. will be preferred.
