A brief power disruption at 4 a.m. this morning which resulted in both Central Heating Plant boilers shutting down on the Halifax campus. They are back on-line under generator power, but it will take a few hours staff to get all of the systems back up and running. Many buildings will be a bit chilly this morning but only temporarily.

Starting on April 1, 2014, minimum wage rates in Nova Scotia, including at мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥, will be increasing. Minimum wage across the province will increase to $10.40 from $10.30. For inexperienced workers, the Nova Scotia rate will increase to $9.90 from $9.80.
