Celebrating International Education Week

It's , and мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥ is marking the occasion with a series of events all week long on campus.

IEW "showcases the significant contribution that international education makes to our social, economic, and cultural well-being and supports Canada’s ongoing efforts to engage on the international stage."

ALL WEEK
• Photo Exhibition: Canada’s Engagement with the World
7:30a.m. to 11:00p.m., Student Union Building, Wall of Nostalgia, 2nd Floor
Photos from students will be displayed on the Wall of Nostalgia in the SUB all week. Come check out a wide range of beautiful photos with an international theme!

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 25
• Kick Off Day!
11:00a.m. to 1:00p.m., Studley Campus Student Union Building Lobby, Carlton Campus Tupper Link Hallway, Sexton Campus B-Building Lounge
Drop by to answer international themed trivia questions for your chance to win cool prizes, find out more about the events of International Education Week, sign-up for the Immigrating to Canada Information Session, or simply pick up a treat!

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 26
•Ìý Immigrating to Canada Information Session, presented by Cox & Palmer
2:30p.m. to 4:00p.m., Weldon Law Building, Room 104
The immigration law firm Cox & Palmer will present options for immigration to Canada.
• Shine A Light hosted by World University Service of Canada (WUSC)
5:00p.m. to 6:00p.m., in front of the Architecture & Planning building H (Sexton Campus) on Spring garden across the public library
Help WUSC мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥ Shine a light on the plight of refugee girls in Kenya and Malawi.

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 27
• International Airport Terminal
11:00a.m to 2:00p.m., Student Union Building Lobby
Drop by this international fair to celebrate cultural diversity and explore displays, interactive stations, workshops, music, and more! Hosted by the мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥ Student Union.

• International Opportunities Fair

One-stop information fair for students to learn about various exciting international opportunities.

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 29
• International Education Week Gala Dinner
5:30p.m., Student Union Building, McInnes Room
A Gala Dinner to celebrate International Education Week with live performances. Tickets available at the International Centre, 1321 Edward Street, 2nd Floor.
Cost: FREE for Dal students / General Admission $10.
