01 POSITION:ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Teaching Assistant (110 hours)
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý HSCE 2000 – Health Care Ethics (Winter Term 2014)

WORK ASSIGNMENT:Ìý The Teaching Assistant for Health Care Ethics will be responsible for working with the course professor to ensure that the course runs efficiently.ÌýÌý Evaluation of student performance (marking) will be shared between the teaching assistant and the course professor.ÌýÌý The Teaching Assistant reports to the course professor.ÌýÌý Position is for 110 hours for the semester.Ìý Ìý

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: Individuals interested in applying for this position should have outstanding organizational and communication skills, should work well with others and be self-motivated independent workers.Ìý The successful applicant will be familiar with current issues in health care ethics and have at least an undergraduate degree in a related area.

02 POSITION:ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Teaching Assistant (130 hours)
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý HSCE 3000.03: Culture, Diversity & Health (Winter Term 2014)

WORK ASSIGNMENT:Ìý The Teaching Assistant will be responsible for working with the course professor to ensure that the course runs efficiently.Ìý Evaluation of student performance (marking) and proctoring examinations will be shared between the teaching assistant and the course professor.Ìý The Teaching Assistant reports to the course professor.

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: Individuals interested in applying for this position should have outstanding organizational and communication skills, should work well with others and be self-motivated independent workers.Ìý The successful applicant will be familiar with and interested in current issues related to cultural competency and diversity in the Canadian health care context. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.Ìý Masters student is preferred but those with relevant undergraduate preparation and experience will be considered.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý HSCE 4220.03: Critical Research Appraisal & Practices (Winter Term 2014)

WORK ASSIGNMENT:Ìý The Teaching Assistants will be responsible for working with the course professor in this on-line course to ensure that the course runs efficiently and effectively.Ìý Evaluation of student performance and participation on an ongoing basis will be expected of the TAs in this role.Ìý The Teaching Assistants report to the course professor. Ìý

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: Individuals interested in applying for this position should have outstanding organizational and communication skills, should work well with others and be self-motivated independent workers.ÌýÌý Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.Ìý Applicant should at minimum be enrolled in a Masters program.
