Pay Rate:  $4565.50 per course (In accordance with CUPE Collective Agreement)

Work Assignment:

A Part-Time Academic is needed to teach the following course from Sept - Dec, 2013.

Commerce 3303/BUSI 6006 - Managing the Family Enterprise

Requirements:

An MBA degree or equivalent is required.  Attributes required:  excellent communication skills.  The successful applicant must have demonstrated knowledge of the subject matter, and an established record of effective teaching experience.  He/she must have experience teaching Family Business. The successful candidate must also be able to meet the School's accrediting body (AACSB) academic qualification requirements or professional qualification requirements.

Duties included, but are not limited to:

The Part-Time academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including lectures, test preparation and evaluation.  The part-time academic should be available for two hours per week for consultation with students.  The part-time academic reports to the Director of the Department.
