10-month Limited Term Instructor: Advertisement

The Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥ invites applications for a 10-month (limited term) position as Instructor in our CPA Accredited Clinical Psychology Program within the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥. The position is available beginning between July 1 and September 1, 2013. Candidates should have a PhD in Psychology, should be a fully registered clinical psychologist in the province of Nova Scotia or be eligible for registration. The ideal candidate would have experience teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, as well as experience in clinical supervision. Individuals interested in a 1/2 time position should consider applying as it may be possible to split the position.

He/she will teach four to six half credits per year at the undergraduate and graduate level, with the actual assignment dependent on the level of administrative assignments and supervision of undergraduate and graduate student research projects.

Although research is not a required component of this position, in keeping with the nature of the Psychology and Neuroscience Department, we will support the applicant in developing or continuing to develop their research program.
