Commuter Challenge

Posted by Office of Sustainability on May 24, 2013 in General Announcements

The Commuter Challenge is a week-long event during Canadian Environment Week (June 2 – 8, 2013) in which cities and workplaces compete to encourage Canadians to leave their cars at home and reward those who are walking, cycling, carpooling and taking transit.

Let's make this the best year yet and show Canada that мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥ leader in sustainability. Register today on the Commuter Challenge website as part of мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥. During the week, you can sign in each day to track the distances you travel and your mode of transportation. At the end of the week, you’ll receive the impact data associated with the types of transportation used, including calories burned, fuel saved, and CO2 emissions avoided.
