1 POSITION:Ìý Part-time Academic for GERM 1010 (German for Beginners), Summer School 2013 (May 06 – June 21, 2013)

DEPARTMENT/LOCATION:Ìý German Dept., Marion McCain Arts and Social Sciences Bldg., Room 3054, 6135 University Avenue, Halifax, NS B3H 4R2

PAY RATE:Ìý In accordance with CUPE Collective Agreement
Ìý
WORK ASSIGNMENT:Ìý Instruction in elementary German grammar, writing, reading and speaking skills. Responsible for a full course "German for Beginners". This includes preparing tests, marking and oral instruction. Ten class hours per week (2.5 hrs. /day, Monday to Thursday).

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:Ìý Minimum requirement: M.A. or equivalent. Native or near-native fluency in German. Experienced language teacher preferred.
