Bibliographies Made Simple with RefWorks

Posted by мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥ Libraries on September 10, 2012 in General Announcements

RefWorks is an online citation manager and the best way to organize your sources and citations. It allows you to compile, edit and format bibliographies by importing references directly from online databases or by entering them manually and inserting them into your finished paper in the citation style of your choice (eg. APA, MLA).

Register for a Refworks session (in room G70 of the Killam Library) by contacting Carol Richardson at clrichar@dal.ca or 494-3621. You can register a group or as an individual. Please state which session you'd like to attend:

Thursday, September 13: 1-2:30 p.m.
Saturday, September 15: 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Wednesday, September 19: 10-11:30 a.m.
Saturday, September 22: 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Monday, September 24: 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Tuesday, October 2: 3-4:30 p.m.

In addition to the RefWorks sessions, librarians at the Killam Library can create customized sessions designed to meet your needs. Please contact Carol Richardson, clrichar@dal.ca or 494-3621 to arrange for group or individual sessions. Topics include: online resources (Novanet, electronic journals and databases); academic integrity; Document Delivery (obtain any item you need for your research); and specialized resources such as government documents, theses and statistics. Give your research that extra edge.
