Gabby Noordijk, Hockey
Second-year defencewoman Gabby Noordijk is this week鈥檚 female PepsiCo Athlete of the Week.
Gabby helped lead the Tigers to a 2-1 overtime win over the U SPORTS No. 2 ranked UNB REDS last week.
She recorded two assists in the game, including on the game-winning goal and finished the night with a +2.
Gabby has been a consistent presence on the backend in addition to being a key contributor to the Tigers offence. She is currently ranked second in scoring in the AUS for defencewomen with 12 points.
A commerce student, Gabby is from Oakville, Ont.

Shamar Burrows, Basketball
Fifth-year guard Shamar Burrows is this week鈥檚 male PepsiCo Athlete of the Week.
Shamar led the Tigers to an 83-53 victory over the Acadia Axemen last week.
He scored 22 points in the win, going 10-13 shooting from the field. Shamar also added seven rebounds, six assists and three steals to be named the Subway Player of the Game.
A native of Nassau, Bahamas, Shamar is an MPA student.
