мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥ is no stranger to the Halifax Pride Parade, having been a regular participant in recent years. For 2016, though, мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥ got to double-down on the celebrations.
That's because the Town of Truro also hosted its own Pride Parade — the first in its history. Students, faculty, staff and alumni from the Faculty of Agriculture (and some guests from Halifax, too) joined the Dal contingent to show their support for and solidarity with LGBTQ+ individuals and communities. Meanwhile in Halifax, dozens of members of the Dal community turned out to march in the parade, with others setting up camp at the Dal Cheering Section next to the Architecture building to shout their support. It marked a fitting end to a successful .
