Elizabeth MacDonald, Track and Field

Fourth-year Tiger Elizabeth MacDonald was named the AUS Female Field Athlete of the Year for her performance at the Subway AUS Championship in Moncton, N.B last weekend. The three-year defending AUS weight throw champion, MacDonald recorded a new AUS record of 17.07 metres for an AUS gold medal in the event. She also finished second in shot put, recording a distance of 12.02 metres. MacDonald is completing her PhD in Chemistry and hails from Oromocto, N.B.

Rob McCulloch, Track and Field

The defending AUS champion in the pentathlon, Rob McCulloch maintained his title last weekend at the Subway AUS Championships with a new AUS record (3729 points). McCulloch also earned two AUS silver medals in the long jump (6.61 metres) and high jump (1.99 metres) and a bronze medal in the shot put (13.24 metres). For his outstanding performance McCulloch was named the Subway AUS Championship MVP. Originally from Glammis, Ont., McCulloch is a fifth-year science student.
