Security concerns led to the cancellation of American right-winger Ann Coulter鈥檚 speech at the University of Ottawa Tuesday night.
Her scheduled speech prompted a boisterous protest by about 2,000 people who gathered outside the venue to protest her presence there.
The darling of the U.S. right-wing who uses incendiary language in her books and syndicated column now says she鈥檚 the victim of a hate crime under Canadian laws and is preparing a human rights complaint.
Should her version of free speech be allowed on Canadian campuses? Were students right to protest her presence?
