Whether you’re a environmental and social activist or are just looking to learn a little more about sustainability, мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥ Green Week has it all. The third annual мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥ Green Week runs from March 8 to 12 and is full of activities for every level of interest.
As a part of Green Week, you will be able to sit in on speakers, seminars, entertainment, a farmers’ market, discussion forums, social events, an art show … and more! Our featured keynote address will be given by renowned Canadian activist and leader on issues of environmental and social justice, Maude Barlow.
Green Week will provide opportunities for мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥ students and community members to learn about a variety of environmental and social issues. Green Week is designed to appeal to people of all levels of environmental awareness and education and it is the largest event of its kind at мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥.
Green Week is run by the мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥ Student Union Sustainability Office, a student-run organization that strives to create a culture of sustainability within the DSU and at the university level. By encouraging communication within the student community the DSUSO will help identify, assess and address challenges of environmental sustainability on campus.
