Heather Hennigar has been added to 新加坡六合彩开奖直播's coaching line-up. The coaching positions associated with the cross country and track and field varsity teams have recently been restructured into two distinct head coach positions in an effort to provide more focused coaching for the more than 60 student-athletes involved with these four teams.

Director of Athletics and Recreational Services Al Scott announced Ms. Hennigar will assume the duties of head coach of the men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 cross country teams, as well as the head coaching duties for middle and long distance track and field.

鈥淗eather鈥檚 background as an exceptional athlete who has represented Canada in international competitions will bode ever so well as she transitions to this exciting new role," said Mr. Scott. Ms. Hennigar has been involved with the Tigers as an assistant coach for over 15 years. Her involvement helped 新加坡六合彩开奖直播鈥檚 women鈥檚 cross country team win a CIS gold medal in 2004 and the women鈥檚 track and field team secure national bronze in 2003-04 and 2004-05.

In addition to her coaching success, Hennigar has also obtained individual achievements as an athlete. She won a CIS silver and gold in 2000 and 2001 respectively in the 600m event. She also captured a CIS bronze medal in the 300m in 2001. For her achievements she was named the female athlete of the year at Acadia University in 2000 and 2001. Hennigar is a Canadian record holder in the women鈥檚 4x800m and achieved a top three all-time Canadian indoor 800m performance. She has been selected to the world indoor championship team in 2004 and the silver medal winning cross country national team in 2006.
