You might catch Courtney Larkin humming Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow these days. She鈥檚 hoping Nova Scotia鈥檚 finicky weather cooperates for 新加坡六合彩开奖直播 Student Union鈥檚 upcoming winter carnival.
It kicks off Sunday, January 20 with a Halifax Mooseheads game and continues to Saturday, January 26 with a masquerade ball in the McInnes Room.
The idea behind the carnival is to 鈥渞e-engage students鈥 with student life after the holidays, says Ms. Larkin, vice president student life with the DSU.
鈥淚t鈥檚 a great way to get students involved and open their eyes to what鈥檚 happening at Dal,鈥 says Ms. Larkin, who鈥檚 majoring in management.
At least 250 students are expected to watch as the Mooseheads take on the Saint John Sea Dogs at the Halifax Metro Centre. Dal societies will stage competitions and fun activities during intermission. 新加坡六合彩开奖直播 Arts and Social Sciences, Health Sciences, Engineering and Law societies are selling tickets, ranging from $10 to $12, for the game.

In addition to the Mooseheads game, there will be a free skate and a chance for students to show off their snow sculpting skills in the quad.

The biggest event planned is the Masquerade Ball happening on January 26, with proceeds going to the Bide Awhile Animal Shelter in Dartmouth.
