脭Tis the season for retirement parties. Along with the smaller affairs being held at various locations on campus, President Tom Traves hosted an elegant afternoon tea earlier this week in honour of those retiring from the university. Retiring employees received either a key chain or a pendant embossed with the 新加坡六合彩开奖直播 logo in recognition of their years of service.

Gabriele Wamboldt has worked as the administrative secretary in the German department for the past 19 years and is retiring at the end of the month.

She's finding it tough to say goodbye.

"After聽all these聽years, 新加坡六合彩开奖直播 has become my second home," says聽the native of聽Munich, Germany. She plans to travel, improve her聽golf game and take up piano again. "I'm going to miss the opportunity to speak my native language on a daily basis and all the contact with so many聽interesting people, the professors and the young people."

Michael Roughneen, Assistant Vice President of Personnel Services, spent 26 years at 新加坡六合彩开奖直播 and said his time here was wonderful.

脪Of course, the prospect of retirement is wonderful too,鈥 he laughed, at his retirement bash held in the Great Hall last week.
