James Dean - MA 1973 -聽is currently Executive Director, Office of International Relations and Professor, Department of Economics, University of Manitoba (UM).聽 He graduated from 新加坡六合彩开奖直播 (1973) and attended Virginia Tech, then VPI, to earn a PhD in Economics and Public Choice. He has written a number of articles and books, including Religion and Economics: Normative Social Theory, with A.M.C. Waterman (Kluwer, 1999) His administrative involvement with international began with a student-centred exchange program in Mexico, developed in preparation for the Pan Am Games in Winnipeg in 1999. As Executive Director since 2004, he is the senior officer at the UM in charge of internationalization. In that capacity he represents the UM in international forums. He administers 350 partnerships worldwide, and has set up continuing research conferences in Iceland, Sweden, Germany, Hungary. He supports existing development projects in Asia, Africa and the Americas and assists the UM in expanding these activities. He is currently a Board member of the Regional Aids Training Network (Nairobi) and the Consortium on North American Higher Education Collaboration (Tuscon).
