The MLIS program at SIM has been granted continued accreditation status by the Committee on Accreditation, American Library Association. We have been granted full accreditation for seven years.
SIM Director, Louise Spiteri stated, "I would like to extend my sincerest thanks and gratitude to all my colleagues at SIM, our wonderful students and alumni, as well as all our SIM friends for the group effort that went into the preparation and presentation of our Program Presentation."
The School's MLIS program has been accredited continuously by the American Library Association (ALA) since the graduation of the first class in 1971.
