Research Interests

Dr. Loughlin’s research focuses on building leadership systems to support healthy and inclusive workplaces. She coaches senior leaders on organizational change, conflict resolution, workplace stress, and mental health, across government and industry, and has coordinated change initiatives across sectors. HerÌýinterdisciplinary research is funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada and the Canadian Institute for Health Research. Her most recent work focusses on links between leadership, complexity theory, mental/physical health, and performance.
