Congratulations to Dr. Ingrid Waldron (Nursing) who is the Principal Investigator on a SSHRC Connections Grant in the amount of $49,935 for the project "In whose backyard? Exploring toxic legacies in Indigenous Black and Mi'kmaq communities."Â Co-investigators: Swarna Weerasinghe (Community Health and Epidemiology), Sheri Price (Nursing), Andrea Chircop (Nursing).
Dr. Waldron was also sucessful in receiving a NSHRF Development Innovative Grant in the amount of $14,999 for the project "Using the People Assessing their Health process to explore the social determinants of health in the African Nova Scotian Community in the North End, Halifax."Â Co-investigators: Sheri Price (Nursing), Jill Grant (Planning).
