Bio:
Nils is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥ in Halifax, Canada. From 2021 to 2024 Nils was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the  working with Javier Alonso-Mora at TU Delft. Until August 2021 he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Autonomous Systems Lab at the University of Waterloo where he also did his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) under the co-supervision of Ìý²¹²Ô»åÌý from 2016 to 2020. Before that Nils completed my BSc. and MSc. degrees at the Technical University Berlin in 2012 and 2016, respectively.

Nils’ research focuses on cognitive robotics, control and learning, in particular human-robot / human-AI interaction, preference learning, learning from human feedback, multi-robot coordination and task assignment, motion planning and multi-objective planning.
