  • for Canadian applicants: June 1st
  • for non-Canadian applicants: April 1st

Online application

To apply, complete the and pay the 115.00CAD application fee. Payment must be received before your application is processed. Methods of payment are included on the online application.

The online application form will also demand two letters of reference for admission into a graduate degree. These letters are normally required to be from academics familiar with your work but may be replaced with relevant professional references for some course-based professional master's programs.

These letters should be submitted via 新加坡六合彩开奖直播鈥檚 electronic reference system (Eref). Entering your referee鈥檚 names and emails into your application form is sufficient to initiate the e-reference and your referees will receive an email within a few days. Note that a referee鈥檚 email must be a current and active institutional email in order to be considered valid and secure. Email addresses hosted by a free email provider (gmail, Yahoo, etc.) will not be considered valid and will result in a failed application.

Supporting documents

After you have submitted your online application, please email the following supporting documents to the French Department Graduate Administrator:

  • an updated version of your c.v.;
  • information on any studies abroad and any French classes you have completed that have not been counted towards academic degrees;
  • a sample of recent written work in French;
  • a brief statement of intent (in French) about your goals in graduate studies, and the broad area of specialization preferred;
  • a copy of all of your post-secondary transcripts to date;* and
  • any required language proficiency test results (see below).

*A digital image (both front and back sides of every sheet) of your transcripts will suffice for the purpose of your application. If your application is successful, then you will be asked to have your home institution(s) to send two official transcripts directly to the Department of French, c/o The graduate administrator. This should be received by the department by the end of the first two weeks in the program.
