The Faculty of Agriculture, мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥ is a small research-intensive campus located in Truro, NS.Ìý Offering technical, undergraduate and graduate programs in agriculture, environment and related life and social science disciplines, the Faculty of Agriculture educates future leaders and generates knowledge and innovative solutions for healthy, sustainable societies.
Key Responsibilities:
·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Coordinate, develop course modules
·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Teach online courses
·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Conduct the summer school related to the Master Gardener Program.
·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Responsible for all aspects of coordinating the program, developing course modules, communicating with students online, teaching online courses and test preparation and evaluation; and organizing the summer school.Ìý
·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý This position works collaboratively with the Instructors in Horticulture, Manager Botanical Garden Unit and Extended Learning.
·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý The position reports to the Chair of the Department.
Qualifications:
At least one year experience in teaching in a postsecondary educational institution, Excellent oral, written communication skills, collegiality and interpersonal skills. Online teaching experience is critical. A Masters degree with two years experience in Landscape Horticulture is required.
