±Ê°¿³§±õ°Õ±õ°¿±·:Ìý TA65 Teaching Assistant Position 65 hours AGRI1000: Agricultural Ecosystems

[September, 2019 – December, 2019]

DEPARTMENT/LOCATION:  Plant, Food and Environmental Sciences Department, Agricultural Campus, Truro

PAY RATE:  As per CUPE collective agreement

WORK ASSIGNMENT: The assistant will help with all aspects of the AGRI 1000 laboratory; prelab prep and tear down, demonstrating laboratory assignments, marking lab reports and student support.

This is a part-time position with a range of weekly hours                                                         

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Lab preparation, in-lab demonstration duties, office duties (weekly meetings to plan work schedule and activities), marking, grading and invigilating

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITIONS:

·         They must have a valid class 5 Nova Scotia driver’s license.

·         Excellent communication skills
