With the possibility of electoral reform in Canada now a reality, it is important that citizens are given every opportunity to educate themselves on the options and to discuss the issues and possibilities for a different electoral system in Canada.
Dr. Greg Cameron and Dr. Kathleen Kevany of the Department of Business and Social Sciences have taken up this challenge. They will be participating, along with two speakers from Fair Vote Canada, in a panel discussion on electoral reform in Canada, to take place in Tatamagouche on Sunday March 6, 2016.
Dr. Cameron will speak to electoral scenarios in a "Post First-Past-the-Post System,鈥 and Dr. Kevany will address electoral reform and the possibilities it opens up for citizen engagement. 听
This event is sponsored and organized by the North Shore Chapter of the Council of Canadians. All members of the Faculty of Agriculture community are encouraged to come out and add their voices to the discussion.
