Cross-Country
The first competition of the ACAA 2015-16 season was hosted by DAL AC , with the run held on the Campus portion of the Cobequid Trail.Ìý

The women's team had a great race taking 1st place overall -beating MTA, Crandall, Holland and USA.Ìý In addition, the 2015 Individual Champion - Hannah Arseneault of the Rams team beat all other competitors with a time of 21:33 (2 min 4 sec ahead of the next runner)
The top finisher for the RamsÌý men's team was Chandler Colpitts , a rookieÌý who finished in 8th.Ìý The men's team finished 5th.
The next competition for the Rams Runners is Sept 26 at USA.

Soccer
The Rams were in New Brunswick this past weekend to meet UNBSJ Seawolves on Saturday and the St Thomas Tommies on Sunday in Fredericton. Ìý
The women had an excellent match against UNBSJ on Saturday , but could not find the back of the net losing 1-0 to the Seawolves.Ìý The men had their best outing of the season and pulled out a 3-2 win at the Canada Games Stadium with Craig MacEachern, Jonathan Bent and Josh Hamlin scoring for the win.
In Fredericton against the Tommies, the women started slow and were down 2-0 at half.Ìý Then in the second half in the later stages of the game, they started hitting the mark when Molly PickardÌý scored . In the last 10 minutes the Rams scored 3 more with Sian Rankin scoring two and Brittany Greene adding the security marker for the 4-2 win.Ìý
The men struggled against the Tommies and lost 3-0.
The "footballers" are in action again on Thursday Sept 24 , when they host the MSVU Mystics at the DAL AC Field : 6 pm - women and 8 pm - men.
Rugby
The Women's Rugby squad hosted STU on Sunday at the Truro Rugby Park.Ìý The Tommies scored early and often on route to a 60-0 win over the Rams.Ìý
The TommiesÌý are a veteran squad and used their size advantage and experience to control the play . The next contest for the young and improving Rams is Sept 27Ìý when they travel to meet the 2014-15 ACAA Champs , the Mt Allison Mounties at 5 pm in Sackville NB.

Golf
The first tournaments of the season were held this past weekend at Mactaquac and Kingswood (both in the Fredericton area) hosted by STU and UNB respectively.
At Mactaquac, Lindsay Cameron scored 101 for a 4th place finish.Ìý At Kingswood , Lindsay was joined by teammate Brette Holland and the pair scored a combined 193 for a 2nd place finish in the team category. Lindsay scored 92 for a 4th place finish and Brette a 101 for 5th spot.
