A remediation plan is now in place for the mould issue affecting the basement level of the MacRae Library.Ìý Work will begin Friday, September 18th and is expected to continue until mid-November.Ìý This work will see all books and artifacts in the collection cleaned and the carpeting replaced with new flooring.Ìý
During this period of time the collection will not be accessible but the MacRae Library will be happy to purchase any books not easily obtained from other libraries through Novanet Express or Document Delivery.Ìý
The Library will return to regular term hours beginning Saturday, September 19th and those hours are posted on Facebook and at the Library’s main entrance.Ìý
Group study spaces will be available during the evenings and on weekends in select rooms in Cox beginning September 21st.Ìý Please see the signage posted in the building for details on specific rooms and the times they are available.
