MBA Corporate Residency

Posted by Stephanie Rogers on October 2, 2012 in Faculty of Agriculture News

Scott Comber, Director of the Corporate Residency program will be at мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥ Agricultural Campus October 4th, at 4 p.m.Ìý Scott wants to meet with students interested in the program or wanting to find out more about the program or other MBA programs. All students are invited, no matter the major.Ìý An MBA program can be achieved without background in Business or very little course work. ÌýMost MBA programs require prior work experience but not in this one.Ìý

During the program you have an 8 month internship where you actually have the Business job you want. They train you while being paid to get your education.Ìý The longer internship allows you to develop better relationships within the company.Ìý If you want a job in marketing that is what you will be doing on the internship

Kaleigh Brinkhurst a 2012 NSAC graduate was accepted into the program this year. Kaleigh has told me it’s the best decision for her and has just accepted an 8 month internship with Scotia Bank commercial banking team. ÌýShe is being very successful in the program.

This is an excellent opportunity for students graduating from the agricultural science program. We hope to see you at the session.

The session will occur on Thursday October 4th. From 4 to 5p.m. in Cox 261. ÌýIf you have any questions and to RSVP please email Diane Dunlop at diane.dunlop@dal.ca.Ìý
