National Killam Program

The National Killam Program Office (NKPO) is pleased to share the launch of a new program under the National Killam Program banner, the . The 2025 National Killam Program cycle, which will open on April 2, 2024, includes a new fellowship opportunity. Please note that the program guidelines for the Killam NRC Paul Corkum Fellowship are now available on the program’s . Attached you will find a one-page information sheet about the new program.

The Killam NRC Paul Corkum Fellowship honours Dr. Paul Corkum's outstanding contributions to research in Canada. The fellowship will create opportunities for mid-to-late career Canadian and international scholars to collaborate with NRC researchers. This new program provides opportunities for external scholars to have access to the NRC's unique infrastructure and resources, and work with an NRC researcher to further Dorothy Killam's vision of building Canada's future through advanced study.Ìý

The NKPO cordially invites you to participate in an information session to learn more about the new fellowship opportunity. The sessions will take place on the follow dates:

  • English session: March 07, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. AST on Teams
  • French session: March 14, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. AST on Teams

To attend, please RSVP to KillamProgram-ProgrammeKillam@nrc-cnrc.gc.ca indicating your full name, the session you would like to attend, and any accessibility requirements. You are welcomed to share your questions in advance of the session so that NKPO can customize the session to your needs.
